Colonial Entrance / Passage Locks
Mortised Lock with latch function. Backset of 2 1/2" Bolt throw 1" front 1 1/16" x 7 5/8". Case high pressure cast solid brass Face Plate and Strike - Dark Brown Finish Lock Depth 3 5/8"

Lock by thumb piece from either side. Lock by key outside, thumb turn inside. Continuous turn of key retracts both latch and dead bolt allowing one hand operation. Key cylinder should fit flush with the door. When more than one key cylinder is ordered they will be keyed alike unless otherwise specified.

| Chose the handles you desire. one for each side of the door or just one handle with full thumb piece. We will make a matching rosette to go behind the thumb turn. We can also supply matching escutcheon (key hole plate with small hole for key insertion).

If you prefer, a complete thumb latch set, (handle with thumb piece, latch bar, catch and keeper) we can supply a separate mortised dead bolt lock with matching rosette and thumb turn with or without a key cylinder.

Privacy can be provided through the use of a Latch Lock Pin, a device used in the Colonial Period. A pin which is inserted in a hole above the latch bar prevents the latch bar from raising and unlocking the door when the door thumb piece is pressed.
Rim locks for inside face mounting are available. Key outside and knob inside. Ideal for doors 1 3/4" thick or less. 4-1/2" x 3-3/8" x 7/8", Cast Iron, black, 1" throw.
